Cast your vote today - don't delay - don't let your chance slip away (my rhyming skills are obviously okay)

For those who haven't heard, Public Radio Exchange is holding a talent contest along the lines of "American Idol;" the winner will be given the chance to host a nationally syndicated program. There will be 10 semi-finalists for the first round: nine picked by the judges, and one picked by popular votes cast on their website...

Does anybody see where I'm going with this?

Yes, I'm in the contest... You can go to the link below and check out my audition recording; if you like it, please consider registering and casting your vote for yours truly!

Or you can go to the main pages to see what it's all about:

A word of warning: the registration process can be a bit confusing ("counterintuitive" would be a good three-dollar word to use here). But if you'd love to see me go national, here's your chance to make a difference - I hope you'll consider expanding vintage ska & reggae's influence to a much larger audience... First round voting closes on June 1st, so don't delay!

Also, good luck to the other KOOPers who submitted audio as well:

Seriously, I've been very delinquent - my apologies to all. I will be posting playlists weekly from now on, as well as any other relevant info. Hope you enjoy it...

...And a special thanks to Nico & Mark for guest hosting the show while I was off getting my head together - great job, guys!
